The start of a new year is a time for reflection, and as we continue to support fashion wholesale moving forward into 2026, we’re looking back on what we’ve achieved last year and how we can use our innovations and insights to spearhead even more growth in the industry this coming year.
JOOR made some big moves in 2025, which have accelerated both the company and the industry itself forward. Highlights include:

2025 marked our 15th anniversary in business, an important milestone in our journey to revolutionize the wholesale fashion process.
It would not have been possible for us to change the industry in the way we have without our community of brands and buyers, and we began our year by saying thank you to our global partners and celebrating how far we have come.
In the run-up to the anniversary, we honoured a different client, achievement, or innovation every day for 15 days.
Highlights included a spotlight on our very first client, Diane Von Furstenberg, who is still on the platform and working with us today, as well as a focus on our payment solution JOOR Pay, which launched in 2022 and has been improving cash flow and mitigating risks typically associated with collecting payments ever since.

In February 2025, we unveiled our first-of-its-kind prospecting tool, JOOR Discover. It was designed to help time-starved retail buyers effectively identify the best brands for their specific consumers and trend-led assortment needs, and assist brands looking to drive growth and repeat business by leveraging our global network of vetted retailers.
The launch received international coverage from esteemed publications including WWD, Yahoo, and MSN, with Fashion United dubbing it ‘a sophisticated, data-powered matchmaking tool’.
In 2025, there were 191,000 new connections made between brands and buyers on our platform. Through beta testing JOOR Discover, one fashion brand recorded 55 new retailer connections and 7 new orders in its first four months trialing the new functionality.
Our 2025 market survey revealed 52% of brand respondents reported that wholesale is their most profitable channel of distribution.
Among those surveyed, wholesale emerged not only as the most profitable but also the largest channel, accounting for, on average, 57% of brands’ total business. 93% of respondents also confirmed they are looking to grow their wholesale business.
These findings reinforced our position as the key enabler of wholesale growth. Our newly launched tools, state-of-the-art software, and ever-increasing network strength meant we were able to continue supporting fashion brands and retailers to grow their wholesale business.
In 2025, our network expanded to 692,000 buyers across more than 150 countries worldwide, with average order values increasing by 5%.

In November, JOOR won the 2025 Glossy Fashion & Luxury Award in the category of “Best Fashion Marketplace.” We were recognized for our commitment to transforming the fashion industry through innovation and celebrated for the launch of our new tool JOOR Discover, which was seen as having a tremendous impact on how fashion brands and retailers connect and grow their business.
Speaking about the tool, Glossy stated: ‘by solving a long-standing industry challenge with precision and scale, JOOR Discover not only accelerated business growth but also redefined how fashion brands and retailers build lasting partnerships.’
